More about Me!

Me! is all about integration of services under a single umbrella. With Me! integration, you have at your disposal, a lot of statistics and information, sorted out in an unique way. I will try to explain the utility in terms of some real life scenarios.
  • Your finance manager and address book are linked, so are the address book and the mail client. So, you know how much money you are spending on your girl friend and also how many mails she is sending you. You can create a report with these parameters and get a wacky report like how much money it costs you for your girl friend to send you a mail.
  • You maintain a daily diary, and whenever you write about your boss in the diary, the address book also comes into picture, which will create an index to these references. So, it is very easy for you to click on the boss link in the diary and see all the mails you exchanged, that day.
  • We can give n number of such useful scenarios where the interaction between each module, via centralized address book and reporting module proves very useful.
Address Book
The address book is not a mere linear database that stores the details of each person you know, but a dynamic and highly fluid database, which can show you detailed statistics about each person in the list.
For each person you can see,
  • The frequency of mail exchanges, how many you sent, he sent, the ratio etc.
  • How important is that person to you, using the diary entries, entries in finance manager, mail exchanges etc.
  • Ranking based on the importance.
  • Expenditure done on that person, or by that person (using finance manager). [You can know how much money your dad spent on you last month. or you spent on your girlfriend last week]
  • Search ability. You can easily search for the pdf attachment your colleague sent you over e-mail, by just selecting him in the address book and browsing through the list of files you people exchanged.
  • And much more....
Reporting
Reporting is another strong point of Me! You can create comprehensive and flexible reports by handpicking parameters you want across the modules of Me! and comparing them. You also get extensive measurement matrix and yardsticks, like mail sent-received ratio, money spent-day of week ratio, etc.
The reporting also uses graphical representatins like pie-charts, bar graphs etc to make the information more clear and understandable.

That is there in this update. In the next update, more about mind-map & personal diary.
